Quilting Class Policy
IMPORTANT NOTES REGARDING CREEKSIDE QUILTING
CLASSES
Class fees must be paid no later than 7 days
prior to the first scheduled class session, or your enrollment
may be cancelled without notice. PLEASE CHECK YOUR CALENDARS
CAREFULLY PRIOR TO ENROLLING. CLASS FEES ARE REFUNDABLE ONLY
WHEN YOU REQUEST A REFUND NO LATER THAN 7 DAYS PRIOR TO THE
FIRST SESSION. If there is a waiting list for the class and
we are able to fill your spot with another student, we will
refund your class fee to you even if you provide less than
7 days’ notice. We hope you understand that we make
a commitment to the teacher based on paid enrollments.
Upon your paid enrollment, a 15% discount
will be extended to you for the purchase of patterns, books,
tools and notions listed on the class supply list. If the
class supply list includes a copyrighted pattern or book,
each student must have his or her own original; we do not
allow photocopies of copyrighted material in our classroom.
While you are not obligated to purchase your class supplies
from us, we hope you will chose to do so. We appreciate your
business and are committed to assisting you in the selection
of products that will help you get the maximum benefit from
the class.
Out of respect for all participants, we start
our classes on time. Please arrive 15 minutes early to set
up your machine, if applicable. The teacher may be unable
to provide latecomers with enough individual attention to
allow them to catch up with the lesson. We cannot accommodate
children or other guests in the classroom, nor the use of
individual irons. Feel free to bring a task lamp with a bulb
not exceeding 75 watts and to bring a beverage. Please dress
in layers….it’s very difficult to adjust the
temperature to one that pleases everyone! Please don’t
wear cologne to class so that those with breathing difficulties
aren’t bothered by the fragrances.
