Quilt Binding Fabric Requirements Binding Your Quilt
It's done! Well, almost....it's been quilted and you're ready to bind it. If your pattern doesn't specify (or maybe you've lost the pattern by now?), use this chart to estimate the amount of fabric needed for binding. You'll need to add together the width and length of your quilt; then multiply that sum by 2 to get the perimeter.
